Love the idea – my beaded one is getting close to falling apart I just need to find out how to finish opposite end – I can handle the starting end…..
To start with, we did a temporary binding to hold the threads together, and the same at the end to hold everything until we were ready for the final fixing. The actual finishing was a binding using one of the colours of the braid – we folded over the end to make the loop and wrapped it round over quite a long distance to make sure it was tight, and also so that we didn’t get any lumps where the thread ends were.
